RAMADHAN TREATS TO THE NEEDY

In the Ramadhan’s spirit of giving and sharing, SEDCO presented contributions to charitable bodies and mosques, as well as goodies and duit raya to needy children during its breaking of fast event at Wisma MUIS, Kota Kinabalu on 19 August 2010. Among the recipients were the Sabah Society for the Blind, the Special Children Nursery Sembulan, and several orphans. Assistant Minister of Industrial Development, Datuk Seri Panglima Michael Asang, SEDCO Chairman, Datuk Hj Mohd Arifin Mohd Arif, Group General Manager, Encik Maisuri Besri and senior officials of SEDCO and the Group were among the 200-odd guests who attended the occasion.

SEMINAR ON SYARIAH-COMPLIANT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IN KOTA KINABALU

A Seminar On Quality Management System (MS 1900 : 2005) : "Requirement From Islamic Perspective" will be held in Kota Kinabalu on May 11 this year. The seminar is organised by Sabah Economic Development Corporation (SEDCO) in collaboration with SIRIM QAS International, Malaysia Islamic Chamber Of Commerce and Sabah Islamic Religious Council (MUIS).

SEDCO SIGNS MOU FOR GREEN PROJECT

Sabah Economic Development Corporation (SEDCO) and Pollution Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd (PE) inked a memorandum of understanding recently to collaborate, promote and implement developments relating to the environment protection, rehabilitation and conservation using high value and green technology in Sabah Development Corridor.
